In Love and Service, The Primary Purpose Group Show Less We meet so the newcomer may find the fellowship they seek. It is our honest desire to be helpful to you. Anyone who has a desire to stop drinking is welcome. We are attended by newcomers, old-timers, male and female, young and old alike. Frequent contact with newcomers and each other are the bright spots of our lives. We know you will not want to miss them either. Watching people recover, seeing them help others, watching loneliness vanish, seeing a fellowship grow up about us, having a host of friends-these are experiences that we have not missed.
We love the Big Book and understand that it's vital for us to pass on what was so freely passed on to us.
The first meeting is a Big Book study that takes place Monday evenings at 8:00 pm at Ridgeview Institute in Smyrna, Ga. The second meeting of the week is an open speaker meeting held on Friday evenings at 8:00 pm at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church in Sandy Springs, Ga. Our group holds two meetings each week at separate locations. Our hope is that all those who have as yet found no answer may begin to find one in the pages of our book and will presently join us on the high road to a new freedom. The Primary Purpose Group is a fellowship of men and women who meet weekly to study our basic text, the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.
